Defining What It Means
Complex Regional Pain Syndrome (CRPS)- Complex regional pain syndrome (CRPS) is a form of chronic pain that usually affects an arm or a leg. CRPS typically develops after an injury, a surgery, a stroke or a heart attack. The pain is out of proportion to the severity of the initial injury. https://www.mayoclinic.org/diseases-conditions/complex-regional-pain-syndrome/symptoms-causes/syc-20371151

A little intro...
What You Need to Know
Hello there, my name is Kathleen, I live in California and have been married for almost 3 years. This has been quite the writing journey. Being diagnosed with CRPS opened up a world of emotional roller coasters. I wanted to share the knowledge I have and research I have done. Before I was formally diagnosed, there were times people made me feel like I was going insane. Although millions are living with this, there are just as many millions who have not heard of Complex Regional Pain Syndrome. I started with a mission to give others a taste of what goes on in my mind, and I have been at it ever since.
